St. John's basketball recruiting: Durand Scott

Recruiting update from Zagsblog: the 6'4" top 100 guard will visit Louisville, Miami, Pittsburgh, UCLA officially, and unofficially visit St. John's and Seton Hall, giving one official visit to the local school, depending on how his visit goes.

Well, it's better than being left out in the cold by the kid, I suppose, but it's like the cute girl you've been kicking it to saying that she won't go out with you yet but you can walk her to the store and maybe buy her a soda. If he's not committed to an official to one of the local schools, I don't see why he'd change his mind to stay local after seeing what everywhere else has to offer; the guys who really want to be local seem to indicate that tendency early.
