From the New York Newsday, Norm Roberts makes a delicious early fall analogy that's only appropriate after dinner:
"We were young and got our heads bashed in a little bit in the best conference in the country," he said. "But we've got the foundation. The sundae's made. Now, we've got to get the sprinkles and the cherries to go on top."
Coach.
Norm.
Mr. Roberts.
I don't know if you finished making the sundae yet. Your sundae needs some tough tough defense. I do have a hope that this year's team will be much better than last year's edition; over the next few days, I will be posting some numbers and charts to talk about last year's squad. They won't be pretty like sprinkles and cherries and all.
