The Red Storm schedule is out... make your plans accordingly. The Johnnies begin the season with an exhibition game against former assistant coach Chris Casey and CW Post, play U Conn on New Year's Eve, play Seton Hall on Valentine's Day (feel the love) and end the season with Rutgers.
The Red Storm have 3 games on ESPN or ESPN2 Syracuse, Georgetown, Notre Dame, and seven games on ESPNU (which means you can't watch it online on ESPN3). The remaining six games are on ESPN's regional networks, so broadcast on SNY/ MSG.
More, below the fold, and in a later post.
Big East play begins with Providence at home in Carnesecca on December 27th and ends at Rutgers on March 3rd; the Big East Tourney is March 6-10; it comes earlier this year. Connecticut also comes in December, a New Year's eve date in Hartford. And for those of us in the midwest, the DePaul game is February 1st.
With a schedule featuring Arizona and the one of Mississippi State/ Texas A&M, Duke (Jan 28), UCLA (Feb 18), along with tough mid-majors including William and Mary (in the 2K Sports Classic), Northeastern, and Detroit, and the always pesky Fordham and St. Francis, the young Red Storm have their work cut out for them. The full schedule also includes Lehigh and Maryland-Baltimore County.
Fuller analysis of the schedule to come.
