Harkless, a solid 22 point, 9 board effort with 50% shooting (8 of 16). Achiuwa moves up in efficiency per minute thanks to a 5 point, 6 rebound, zero turnover line. Both Harrison and Garrett turned the ball over 5 times which cut into their efficiency grades. Pointer grabbed 8 rebounds with only one turnover. The usually solid Green scored four points. The 2 of 7 from the floor and three turnovers affected his final efficiency.
Was at FDU for their surprising upset of St. Francis(NY). Former St. John’s assistant Fred Quartlebaum was in attendance. He is currently coaching and training youth basketball players in the Dobbs Ferry, NY area. Quartlebaum had praise for the work of Mike Dunlap and how hard this team is playing, competing and representing the program favorably in a situation of less than ideal circumstances.
