The View From Section 3 - Longwood

Finishing and free throws. I have been saying it in every game post but this time has a hard time finishing. Once again we saw fast breaks end with missed passes, 20 foot jumpers, missed lobs and God' Gift simply missing an uncontested dunk / lay-up. When you compound that problem with the return of abysmal free throw shooting, it is a very hard team to watch. We should have beat Longwood by 30. The schedule now takes an interesting turn away from Carnesecca. Penn State and either Georgia Tech / Ole Miss in Brooklyn and then Fordham and Syracuse at the Garden. They really need to figure out how to use that athleticism in a way that is productive. I will say that the Q'doba free burritos were very good last night at Carnesecca. The student section was a bit light on one end with many seemingly avoiding the bad weather and heading home early. Happy Thanksgiving Rumble Nation.
