Steve lavin will miss the second game in a row as he tends to family affairs in California after his father's passing. He'll be back on Sunday to prepare for next Wednesday's game against South Florida.
St. John's will need to come out solidly against the Cardinals and weather their runs; Louisville tends to start games slow and pour on the pressure once they're settled. Russ Smith can get his buckets in transition; in the half court, Chane Behanan is the main weapon.
