The View from Section 110 vs. Pitt

Section 110 at the Garden was pumped for a Johnnies upset but the first sign of trouble was the gray uniforms. Look, I like new looks here and there but our record out of the Reds and Whites is not very good. The Johnnies were nicely composed in the first half cutting through a Pitt lead to go into the half down three. The thinking in 110 was if we were within five at the half, we would be in good shape for a second half run. Wrong. Second half was a disaster. At the 10:32 mark in the second half, Pitt had nine fouls and the Johnnies had 2. Good indication of things to come since the Johnnies were hitting free throws. PITT DID NOT COMMIT ANOTHER FOUL THE REST OF THE GAME -at least according to the men in stripes. It was a bruital second half. D'Angello was not simply missiung shots, he was airballing jumpers. Would have been great to grab the win, but now Providence becomes a must, must win (it probably was already). A group of Section 110 memebers will be at the Dunk on Saturday night to hopefully watch a road win.
