St. John's Recruits Competing in NYC Mayor's Cup Basketball All-Star Games

The best high school basketball players in NYC will meet in the NYC Mayor's Cup Basketball All-Star Games on Friday, April 5th at Baruch College in Manhattan.

Aaliyah Lewis, who will be attending St. John's next year, will lead the girls all-stars from the Catholic schools against the all-stars from the public schools at 5:00PM.

The boys game, starting at 7:00PM, will feature the top seniors from around NYC including, Jon Severe (Christ the King HS, undecided), Terrence Samuel (South Shore HS, attending UConn next year) and Hassan Martin (Curtis HS, attending URI next year).

This event will mark the first time in over 50 years that the two leagues will face each other in an officially sanctioned all-star basketball game. Click here for the full rosters (.pdf)
