Sixers Looking to Trade Carter Williams, Draft Exum

When I was twelve years old the Knicks won the NBA lottery and the right to draft Patrick Ewing. Two years later, with the 18th pick in the draft, the Knicks selected Mark Jackson out of St. John's. Jackson went on to win Rookie of the year and it looked like he and Ewing would be making beautiful music together for years to come...

Fast forward to the draft the following year, and naturally, the Knicks would pick another point guard. Seems they were not happy with what they had just received from the reigning rookie of the year and decided to pick Rod Strickland out of DePaul. This move will go down in New York sports infamy as one of the worst decisions of all time. Mark Jackson would go on to have a brilliant career, with the Pacers, while Strickland had more arrests than assists. Needless to say Ewing never won a ring.

Philadelphia 76ers's take heed. Please do not repeat the blunders of former NBA executives by replacing a future perennial all star because you think you can upgrade the position. I am a Red Storm (still doesn't ring like Redmen) and Knickerbockers fan and maybe a little Harlem Rens, but certainly not a Cuse or Sixers fan. Yet still, I cannot sit idle and remain silent because you think Exum is better that Carter-Williams. Let me save you the trouble, he is not.

This move will come back to haunt the Sixers for years if they decide to make it. First they didn't like Holiday, now they don't like Carter-Williams. Somewhere Mark Jackson is reading about this nonsense and laughing...
