Georgios Papagiannis to stay in Greece

The 7'1" center, a top target late in the game for St. John's and two other high major programs, will stick with the guaranteed money from his Greek team over playing in the United States for exposure.

St. John's has two open scholarships left, but he was one of the last impact players available, along with the reclassified Maverick Rowan, a wing. The center depth next year looks to be Amar Alibegovic and Spanish center Yankuba Sima, who has not officially signed with St. John's as yet.
