Melquan Bolding, who had been committed to the University of Louisville, is still looking for a college. NYCHoops.net is reporting Bolding is down to four schools.A 6-foot-5 guard, Bolding is likely to pick from between St. John's, Cincinnati, Duquesne and Temple. Bolding didn't sign with U of L during the fall signing because of academic problems and then parted ways with the U of L staff soon after the period ended.He played this season for Fitchburg (Mass.) Notre Dame Prep.
Bolding is ranked No. 143 nationally in the Class of 2008 by Rivals.com and is not ranked among the top 100 by Scout.com or the top 200 by HoopScooponline.com.
And all along I thought St. John's was hot on Sean Kilpatrick, who is working on his grades but may need to prep for a year to become college-eligible. Kansas State is hot on his trail.
