St. John's vs Georgetown: game thread is open

It's early. I know. Wipe the sleep out your eyes, stretch the limbs, clean off your couch, do your sunrise salutations - beacuse if the Johnnies can do yoga twice a week (so says the sports reporting of the New York Times), so can you.

Get your coffee and your bagels and your eggs and sit down with St. John's/ Georgetown. Georgetown has a sparkling 13-3 record... but they've struggled in conference play with their shooting (more detail in the game preview).

Quinn will be at the game, I'll be taking notes from home, so come on and discuss what's happening.

Will the team enjoy a better ball-protection performance with the less-aggressive (but defensively solid) Hoyas on the other side? Will we hear incessantly about the Johnnies' lack of height? Will the announcers harp on the Johnnies' youth or God`sgift Achiuwa's name... or will the Storm give them something to talk about?

Can the Storm handle the passing skills of center Henry Sims? The shooting of Hollis Thompson? Will D`Angelo Harrison and Jabril Trawick get into a physical tussle like they did last summer at IS8?

You've got an hour. Catch up with our pregame posts:

1. And also, Nurideen Lindsey has a school to transfer to - he's going to Arkansas.

2. Ricardo Gathers, the 2012 forward who decommitted from St. John's, listed St. John's as one of his four favorites at the HoopHall Classic in Springfield, MA. The others: Baylor, North Carolina State, and Florida.

Any predictions for today's game?
