Shortly, you're going to come to Rumble in the Garden and see a fresh new look. We've kept this under wraps, just teasing out the new logo along the way.
But all of the SB Nation sites will be getting a redesign - and not just a fresh coat of paint redesign, but a changing-the-size-of-the-rooms HGTV-level makeover. I tried to get Sabrina Soto to come and narrate the changes, but apparently she's busy.
The upshot: SB Nation United is launching very, very soon. Here's what you can expect:
- SB Nation United will make our sites load faster on your computer and run better, meaning you can get to the content you want faster.
- SB Nation United is going to make sure that you’re seeing the best and brightest content up front with our flexible layout, modern design and reduction of clutter on the page.
- SB Nation United is going to make the experience on our sites run seamlessly from every platform, whether mobile, tablet or computer. No matter where you are, the experience will not change.
- SB Nation United will not take away or change any of the community elements you love like FanPosts, FanShots and GameThreads.
I'm particularly excited about the new mobile look, and how the front pages will look. Of course, the crew here will continue to give you the best St. John's news and analysis, and give you a place to discuss the Red Storm teams. That's what we do, and cosmetic changes don't alter the heart of our mission.
Screenshots after the break.

BUT WAIT. That's not the only look - the cover is FLEXIBLE.
And also
There are a few more covers, but I'll keep those under wraps.
Where's the rest of the site, you may ask? Well, those three styles are just for the top of the new pages on Rumble in the Garden. The site will look like this example from Nets Daily. You'll want to enlarge that photo, but you get the idea. There will be new-look sections, and easier ways to get to those sections, below the front photos:
There have also been some changes to the look after many of the SB Nation managers gave feedback - so what you see when United goes live won't look exactly like this. But it'll be cool.
Most exciting, the new mobile phone and tablet look.
And the look of Fanshots:
I like it. Your thoughts?
