Dropped from the top-20, St. John's took out their losing streak frustrations on Atlantic-10 for LaSalle at Belson stadium in a non-conference match. After unleashing 14 shots, the Johnnies went into halftime scoreless. But the second half saw the team loose 20 shots and find the net three times in 13 minutes of game action.

Brandon Savino, Daniel Herrera, and Cody Albrecht all found the back of the net; Rafael Diaz had three saves.

Coming off a loss to Providence,  the Red Storm battled back from a 1-0 deficit late in the game to tie it at 1 with a goal in the 87th-minute by Sean Sepe, his team-leading fifth goal on the year and fourth in the last five games, but it wasn't enough as the Knights scored a golden goal in overtime to take the contest, 2-1.

For the Johnnies, Rafael Diaz made four saves in goal.

They say all good things must come to an end. Unfortunately for the Red Storm, their five-game home winning streak ended. In the process, the Johnnies' 23-game (22-0-3) unbeaten streak against Providence also ended. The Friars scored in the 78th minute off a penalty kick to come away with the win.
