| Tuesday, November 19th, 2013 When: 9:00 PM Eastern St. John's (2-1) vs Monmouth Hawks (1-2) Pomeroy Rank: St. John's: 52 | Monmouth: 314 Carnesecca Arena (Capacity: 5,602) Where: Queens, NY TV: Fox Sports 1 | Fox Sports Go Radio: Bloomberg 1130 Line: 19, St. John's |
If you didn't hear: Rysheed Jordan is suspended for tonight's game for a violation of team rules.
Some tendencies to watch for:
Monmouth has two freshmen big men, Chris Brady (no relation to Greg and Jan) and Marcelo Ruediger (no relation to Antonio Reudiger, we think) and a 6'5" sophomore forward Tyrone O`Garro who rebound for the team. Maybe tonight Chris Obekpa and Orlando Sanchez can tee off on those two and show what offensive skills they've worked on in practice.
The Monmouth Hawks are very, very young (14th youngest in Division I) and while they have a lot of energy and win under their belts over an awful Hofstra team, they shouldn't pose much of a problem.
"Shouldn't."
Let's talk about the game action, ladies and gentlemen. Even without Rysheed, this should be a cupcake.
