Some tendencies to watch for:

Virginia is known for their packed in defense; they make transition opportunities and getting to the rim very difficult. If you can drive past one player, another lays in wait. The Johnnies will try; and if the Red Storm can earn some turnovers and attack in transition at some opportunities, they will find themselves able to hang with the Cavs.

Those are big ifs, and Joe Harris is good enough to carry Virginia on his back. Their youth has offensive talent. St. John's has Jakarr Sampson and (hopefully) the good version of Phil Greene IV, and perhaps an improving Jamal Branch to pilot the attack. And, of course, Sir`Dominic Pointer, an offensive force who is looking for his shot more.

An offensively aggressive Sir`Dom changes the tone of the team - it's not longer 1 on 5 or 2 on five basketball.
