The regular season finale is here. And the Johnnies hope to get at least two more games in; a win over Marquette could put them back in bubble talk, especially considering that they will be without do-everything Sir`Dominic Pointer, the team's Cost Co - in coach Steve Lavin's words.

D`Angelo Harrison was a loss, true, but Pointer is the heart of the defense - the one thing St. John's has been doing well for much of the season. (Or at least for halves.)

More on how Pointer has played in recent weeks.

St. John's will be honoring first responders today, with members of NYC's Police, Fire, Emergency Management, and Sanitation workers in the audience.

Marquette, with a win, earns a share of the Big East regular season title. Depending on the outcome of Georgetown's and Louisville's games, they could win it outright.

Can the scorer Jakarr Sampson (17 points, six rebounds in last four games) and Phil Greene IV find help on both ends of the floor and knock off the Golden Eagles? Make note: Marquette can struggle for 20, 30 minutes and pull through; they beat Rutgers despite being down as much as 12 in the second half in Piscataway.
