It's been a great year, even though no, I didn't publish updates to the Rumble in the Garden Bracket Pool.
This year's Tournament busted brackets early and often, with the unheard of occurrence of a 15-seed making it to the Sweet Sixteen, a trio of number ones (Gonzaga, Indiana, Kansas) bounced before the Elite Eight, that horrible Syracuse team from Canada going to the Final Four...
By the way, did Marquette really score 39 points in an Elite Eight game? And was it me, or were three of those four Elite Eight games real dogs?!
Anyway, here are the final standings. Extra points were given for picking upsets as described earlier.
The Right Reverend (not really a Reverend but true story - he is licensed in New York to marry people) Matthew Raycroft pulls in with the win with his love for all things Atlantic 10 (there will be an A-10 site in the near future for him) and also for loving Florida Gulf Coast to knock off Georgetown. Haterade is your friend when picking brackets.
I'm Marshall Henderson Crazy Eyes and Quinn stumbled in right behind me. Jaden, as the Viet Norm vet, got shelled.
