Ohio State 1, St. John's 0
A strong showing in the second half wasn't enough for the Red Storm as the Buckeyes topped the Johnnies in the final day of the Hoosier Classic in Indiana.
St. John's found themselves down early after Ohio State found the net just 22 minutes into the contest. With only six shots in the first half, the Red Storm picked up the intensity in the second half, totaling nine shots, but they were unable to put one over the line.
Despite taking the loss, Diana Poulin played well in goal. She made three saves and allowed just the one goal against an offense that had been averaging just under two goals per game. Through the team's first seven games, the Red Storm defense has only allowed two goals.
