A 109th-minute golden goal sunk the No. 7 Red Storm in a tight game against No. 5 Creighton. The goal, was, admittedly, well-struck:

In the final six minutes of regulation, the teams combined for six shots, none of which found the mesh. It wasn't until late in the overtime period that Creighton netted the game winner.

No. 9 St. John's 2, DePaul 2

The Red Storm traveled to Chicago to take on DePaul in a BIG EAST contest. After Sean Sepe scored his fourth goal of the season in the seventh minute, St. John's found themselves trailing DePaul 2-1, with the Blue Demons capitalizing off of set plays. The Johnnies scored a goal in the 79th minute when Daniel Herrera put one into the net from 30 yards out through traffic to tie the game at 2, but couldn't put another one past DePaul keeper Eric Sorby, who made six saves in the game.
