Franklin Pierce logoFranklin Pierce, a Division II school in New Hampshire named after New Hampshire native and ex-president Franklin Pierce (who has gone down in history as one of the worst presidents*, overseeing the first half of the decade that led to the Civil War), loses eight letter winners from a successful season, complete with a deep Division II NCAA Tournament run.

I didn't know Franklin Pierce was a school, and likely, neither did you. So in terms of exposure, this is a big win for the Ravens, who get two Division I games as part of filling out the NIT slate late in the scheduling year.

The St. John's game will be the third in three nights for the FP Ravens.

*(also research: Bleeding Kansas; research: not nominated by his own party for a second term).
