Big East play begins with a marathon with every Big East team playing, and St. John's and Seton Hall kick off the action with Gus Johnson and Bill Raftery - who announced the St. John's/ Xavier game last year.

St. John's is 11-1, ranked #15 by the AP and #17 by the Coaches' poll this week. The Pirates are 10-2. The game is on at noon in Newark's Prudential Center as part of the Big East's New Year's Eve marathon.

Fox Sports 1 has the broadcast. The game can be seen live-only on Fox Sports 1's app/ online and on Fox Sports 1.

For those listening on the radio, 570 AM WMCA will have the call with John Minko and Brandon Tierney.

St. John's (11-1), ranked #15 by the AP and #17 by the Coaches' poll this week, take on the Seton Hall Pirates (9-2) at noon in Newark's Prudential Center as part of the Big East's New Year's Eve marathon.

The Johnnies want to start off conference play better than they did last New Year's Eve, when they fell to Xavier in Cincinnati. Are the Red Storm legit? Can they be this good against conference foes? Can they beat a team with strong big men, even if Seton Hall starts two freshmen in Angel Delgado and Desi Rodriguez?
