The Big East Tournament is already a surprise for one bubble team - Georgetown fell to DePaul last night, almost certainly dropping the Hoyas from NCAA Tournament contention.
While that's great, the Red Storm have their own destiny in their hands. Both teams will want to get to the Big East Tournament finals to be fairly confident in their chances of making the tourney (and don't let anyone convince you that there's not STILL a chance a team could reach the Big East finals and not impress the selection committee).
Kadeem Batts scored 17 and 15 in the two games against St. John's; Bryce Cotton had 21 and 32 against the Johnnies in their two games.
Can St. John's take out the Friars and move on to the semifainals?
