Again, our condolences to Rysheed Jordan, who lost a close family relative to gun violence in Philadelphia last Saturday; he will be on the bench but won't play in this game.

St. John's should handle a depleted DePaul without Jordan; the Blue Demons no longer have the services of Cleveland Melvin, as mentioned in the game preview.

St. John's needs this game - not to burnish the resume, but to avoid a third loss that will give the selection committee a stink-eye reaction. Hopefully, seniors God`shift Achiuwa, Orlando Sanchez and Marc-Antoine Bourgault will get some good run in this game. It'll be nice to be reminded of the things Bourgault can do before getting the splinter end of the bench assignment.

For DePaul, watch for senior Brandon Young, who keeps p[laying hard, and the big men Tommy Hamilton IV and Sandi Marcius to be factors. And sophomore Durrell McDonald, who hit the decisive shot against Seton Hall earlier this week for DePaul's first win in eleven tries, has been pesky.

Will the Johnnies change up the rotation, given the opponent and the recent struggles? Should they?
