NCAA Tournament 2014 Round of 32 Day 2: schedule, TV times, announcers

Today is a good day of hoops.

I told you not to leave us in the American. We have our revenge.
I told you not to leave us in the American. We have our revenge.

Why yes, I had Dayton in the Sweet Sixteen.

But I didn't get to see the game; I was out celebrating a friend's engagement. It was fun, but the best part of March is watching Syracuse lose, isn't it? Dayton finally has a coach who can get the team to execute in crunch time; Brian Gregory's Flyers teams had an amazing ability to get big leads, give them up, and everything else was a crapshoot. They weren't great shooters. They had late swoons. But that's the past.

Today, after Stanford bores us all with a loss to Kansas, the games are going to be straight fire!

Kentucky/ Wichita State - who ya got?

North Carolina/ Iowa State - scoring for days!

Mercer/ Tennessee? A thrill ride!

Stephen F. Austin's poise and skill vs UCLA's explosiveness - did you SEE UCLA on Friday night? They deconstructed Tulsa. They ran all over them. They looked like a real National Championship challenger. Look in on Steve Lavin's former team.

Baylor/ Creighton - the remaining Big East team (geez, Villanova) plays against an athletic but mistake-prone Baylor squad. Also that Rico Gathers guy... the former St. John's commit... what coulda been.

Memphis/ Virginia might be like watching a cat bat at a dying mouse (or like last year's second round NIT game between Virginia and St. John's last spring).

Gonzaga/ Arizona could be a fierce nightcap.

In NIT games, St. Mary's and Minnesota could be quite interesting; and I'm probably going to watch Illinois vs. Clemson. But I have problems.
