NCAA Sweet Sixteen TV times, announcers, matchups 3/27

All of this, and with a dollop of regret. "Just wait til tomorrow/ I guess that's what they all say/ just before they fall apart."

Amid the drama at St. John's, there are basketball games being played tonight! Good ones, too!

Thursday NCAA Regional Semifinals

South (10) Stanford Cardinal vs. (11) Dayton Flyers FedExForum
Memphis, TN
7.15p CBS Kevin Harlan, Len Elmore, Reggie Miller, Rachel Nichols
West (2) Wisconsin Badgers vs. (6) Baylor Bears Honda Center
Anaheim, CA
7.47p TBS Marv Albert, Steve Kerr, Craig Sager
South (1) Florida Gators vs. (4) UCLA Bruins FedExForum
Memphis, TN
9.45p CBS Kevin Harlan, Len Elmore, Reggie Miller, Rachel Nichols
West (1) Arizona Wildcats vs. (4) San Diego State Aztecs Honda Center
Anaheim, CA
10.17p TBS Marv Albert, Steve Kerr, Craig Sager

Unfortunately, the late games are the best tilts, with a UCLA team that looks Final Four ready and a ripe Arizona/ San Diego State regional tint. I can't really recommend Stanford/ Dayton, but Wisconsin vs Baylor might be some hot fire.

BONUS! For those who like to live in the land of regret*, the games will feature pretty much all of the basketball players St. John's has whiffed on - Rico Gathers (decommitted, went to Baylor), Ish Wainright (was recruited, went to Baylor), Kyle Anderson (St. John's was one of his final three but he went to UCLA), Nick Johnson (Lavin was interested, went to AZ), and Dwayne Polee II (recruited, played for a year but got homesick, went to San Diego State). Did I miss anyone?

* My favorite New Order song, by the way, is "Regret." Maybe too new wave for some of you, but it's one of my non-rap/ non-soul jams.
