We thought JaKarr Sampson was going to be invited to the NBA Draft Combine, based on reporting from Draft Express.
Turns out we were wrong when the official list came out.
RT @GoodmanESPN: Early entries NOT on NBA combine participant list: Behanan, Sim Bhullar, Eric Moreland, Jakarr Sampson, R. Smith.

Big East players Semaj Christon and Doug McDermott will participate in drills and measurements, but JaKarr Sampson and his gaents will have to work on generating interest from individual teams, getting in workouts and showing just how dynamic Sampson can be on the floor.
It's an uphill battle for him.
2015 recruiting - Tanksley Efianayi
Meanwhile in 2015 recruiting, St. John's has interest in a junior college wing named Tanksley Efianayi, a 6'5"/ 210 pound wing originally from Orlando Florida. He averaged 16 points and six rebounds, and got to the line a solid number of times (140 free throw attempts compared to 342 shots - a free throw rate of 41%).
Tanksley Efianayi (6'5/2015) of Daytona State continues to pick up more interest daily. St. John's now involved.

2015 recruiting - Jessie Govan
Wings Academy (and former St. Mary's of Manhasset) big man Jessie Govan has committed to Georgetown.
Our friends at Casual Hoya have the full scoop. Judging by the names mentioned on Twitter by the recruiting intelligentsia, St. John's wasn't a major player for his services, despite expressing interest in the local big man years ago. Govan plays for local AAU squad NY Lightning.
St. John's still is pursuing top-10 forward Cheick Diallo and will need to land him as the centerpiece of the 2015 recruiting class.
