So... last night brought some big news - that point guard Rysheed Jordan was taking a personal leave of absence from the team. Make no mistake - while personal problems and the pull of home require his attention, part of the leave of absence also comes from disciplinary issues.

So... the Red Storm are a five-man team with a number of unknowns on the bench. We took a look at who might have a chance to shine today. (But Felix Balamou is sidelined with an ankle injury - he's had ankle problems before.)

So... the opponent is Butler, a squad that plays hard but can be inconsistent in the skill parts of the game, like shooting and scoring - but will attack the glass to find a way to put up points. We did a Q and A with Butler Hoops that you should read. And also read our preview with St. John's Keys to the Game.

They are not a transition team, but will work in the halfcourt to find scoring opportunities for the likes of Kellen Dunham and Roosevelt Jones. Newcomer Kelan Martin can be explosive as well - he scored 17 points in the Bulldogs' upset win over the North Carolina Tar Heels.

The 4:00 P.M. game will be nationally broadcasted on CBS Sports Network with John Sadak, Doug Gottlieb, and sideline reporter Allie LaForce on the call. No online availability.

If you're unable to make it to a TV, the game can also be heard on the St. John's radio broadcast on 570 AM (WMCA) with John Minko and Brandon Tierney calling the action.
