Chris Mullin's first game as head coach of the Red Storm will be against Division II St. Thomas Aquinas, who lost to the Johnnies last preseason, 97-71.

According to the New York Post, the Johnnies will be without Marcus LoVett and Kassoum Yakwe as they are waiting to be cleared by the NCAA.

It will also be our first look at the up-tempo style of play against an opponent, the versatility of the roster and the 30-second shot clock.

While this won't mean much in a short week, it's a good opportunity for us to learn more about the newcomers and for the team to have a measuring stick for their play heading into the regular season slate that starts next Friday.

Will Durand Johnson continue his hot shooting stroke from Saturday's Red and White Scrimmage?

How will the minutes be distributed to the returnees, Christian Jones, Amar Alibegovic and Felix Balamou?

Who produces from the freshman class with LoVett and Yakwe out?
