While the Johnnies may be focusing on Rawle Alkins, Mustapha Heron, Kassoum Yakwe, Bashir Ahmed and Shamorie Ponds in 2016, they also will get a peak at four-star power forward Mitch Lightfoot.
Lightfoot, who is a native of Tucson, Arizona and stands at 6'8", has multiple high-quality major programs involved as he trimmed his list down to Kansas, St. John's, Utah (he will visit on September 5), Stanford and Arizona on Sunday. According to Adam Zagoria of SNY.tv, the number one player in the state of Arizona will visit Chris Mullin and the Johnnies' campus sometime this fall.

He has solid burst, shows effective quickness and can block shots at the rim.
The Wildcats and Utes will have plenty of scholarships available to try to lure the West Coast talent to their school. Arizona will lose Kaleb Tarczewski, Ryan Anderson and Mark Tollefsen after this year while smooth paint presence, Jakob Poeltl, is likely headed to the NBA Draft.
While the Johnnies have young big men in Amar Alibegovic, Yankuba Sima and Tariq Owens, adding depth and talent will be a high priority for the Red Storm as they continue to try to build a physical, quick team that looks to be a consistent contender in the Big East.
