NCAA Profile: Arizona Wildcats

According to their terms, the Wildcats have had a down year.

Kyle Terada-USA TODAY Sports

Team: Arizona Wildcats

Conference: Pac-12

Coach: Sean Miller

Record: 25-8, 12-6

KenPom Ranking: 16

Good wins: @ Gonzaga, Cal, USC

Impact players: Ryan Anderson (double double machine: 15.5 ppg, 10.1 rpg), Gabe York (15.2 ppg), Allonzo Trier (best scorer when healthy at 15.0 ppg), Kaleb Tarczewski (GLUE GUY - 9.4 ppg, 9.3 rpg)

How did they get in: The Wildcats have been ranked all season and finished third in the Pac-12 regular season standings behind Oregon and Utah. They won six straight games, including wins over Oregon State and USC, in the middle of conference play. Miller's squad also had just one loss in non-conference play, which was in California against Kris Dunn and Providence.

How far can this team go: Arizona has a tough first round match-up between the winner of Vanderbilt-Wichita State, who play in the First Four. They have Sweet 16 potential, but they certainly don't have the talent that they have had in year's past.

Last time in the NCAA Tournament: Last year when they lost to Wisconsin in the Elite 8.
