Team: Gonzaga Bulldogs
Coach: Mark Few
Record: 26-7 (15-3 conference)
KenPom Rank: 28
Good wins: Connecticut, Saint Mary's
Impact players: Senior Kyle Wiltjer closed out his Gonzaga career in style with averages of 20 points and six rebounds per game, and he's had plenty of help. Big man Domantas Sabonis averages a double-double, and Eric McClellan and Josh Perkins each average in double-figures.
How did they get in?: Despite losing more than seven games in the regular season for the first time since 2011, the Zags punched their ticket to the tournament with an 85-75 win over Saint Mary's in the WCC championship. The win avenged Gonzaga's two losses to Saint Mary's in the regular season.
How far can this team go in the NCAA Tournament?: With the star power of Wiltjer and Sabonis, the Zags could be primed for a run deep into the tournament. That being said, if those two cannot perform an early exit may be in store for the Bulldogs.
Last time in the NCAA Tournament: 2015, when a run to the Elite 8 ended with a loss to eventual champion Duke.
