With Winter Storm 'Jonas' dropping two feet of snow on New York City Saturday, St. John's is rescheduling their game versus the Marquette Golden Eagles to Sunday, January 24 at 3:45 p.m. ET at Carnesecca Arena. The original contest was set to tip-off at Madison Square Garden on Saturday night at 8 p.m. before Governor Andrew Cuomo issued a travel ban due to road conditions and safety issues.
The game will not air live on television and will instead be broadcasted as a tape delay on CBS Sports Network at 6 p.m. The Johnnies radio broadcast can be heard live on 970 AM WNYM.
All tickets that were purchased for Saturday's match-up will be honored at the entrance of Carnesecca Arena for general admission entry and if fans cannot attend, they are eligible to swap their tickets for any remaining home game at the same price level or lower. Refunds will also be available at the St. John's ticket office from Wednesday, January 27 to Friday, January 30.
On the court, the Red Storm will look to snap their nine game losing streak and four game skid on campus. Chris Mullin's unit nearly knocked off the Golden Eagles at the Bradley Center at the beginning of January as they had one of their best outings of the season.
The St. John's women's basketball team was initially supposed to tip-off at 2 p.m. against Xavier, but their match-up has been pushed up an hour to 1 p.m.
