Tonight could be confirmation of what we think we know about St. John's after one game - or it could be confirmation of what we thought about the team before the season. Reality: tonight's game won't necessarily tell us much about the Red Storm squad if they win, but it will embolden the naysayers if St. John's loses.
Either way, we have a game to watch and a number of players to watch progress, including Big East Honor Roll member Federico Mussini.

Notes
St. John's has a new Athletic Director.
Takeaways from the defeat of Bethune-Cookman.
What we are looking for tonight:
- A strong performance from Bashir Ahmed, who is expected to lead the Johnnies attack this season. He looked more comfortable deep in the first half.
- How will the big men fare against the bigger Binghamton Bearcats? And will the defensive rebounding improve?
- Can St. John's maintain their energy against a Binghamton squad who, unlike Bethune-Cookman, has actually played together before?
- How will St. John's defend the physical and talented JC Show?
