Game thread - St. John's vs LIU Blackbirds

Today, in the first game After Sima (i.e., after Yankuba Sima's transfer from the St. John's program), the Red Storm take on the LIU Blackbirds, a team that reconstructed itself on the fly, but return two solid, though undersized, big men.

This afternoon's game in Brooklyn - just blocks form the LIU campus - is a chance for the Johnnies to solidify the play that has earned them a three-game winning streak, and a chance to work out a few more kinks before stepping up in talent class (taking on Penn State and Syracuse before conference play).
