Our work to keep you updated on what the competition looks like keeps going. Along with deeper dives into the previews of St. John’s to interviews with players and coaches (with more to come over the weekend), we take a look at what the other Big East teams are saying, looking for hints on which coaches are feeling good about their teams, and which ones have worries.
From Big East Media Day to preseason games, we looked for notes, quotes and interviews to get a better sense of what we are hearing about the other Big East teams from the coaches and, occasionally, from the preseason action on the court.

St. John’s starts preseason play on November 1st against American International, and the regular season starts against New Orleans on Friday, November 10th.
