NCAA Tournament 2017 Round 32: Tip times, announcers, matchups for Sunday

We have the times for today’s NCAA Tournament games with announcers and TV channels - your handy guide to day’s action.

But first, about yesterday:

Tough loss for Villanova. But Wisconsin is a precise team and they exploited a Villanova team that was heavy on wings and guards - and one that won a championship last year shooting better in every game than most teams do. It was amazing and a testament to their confidence and skill, but they had vulnerabilities.

Some will talk about Wisconsin outcoaching Villanova. I might suggest it’s the other way around. Villanova was getting handled early, but adjusted to get the Wisconsin Badgers’ Ethan Happ in foul trouble, adjusted defenses to force turnovers, and took a second half lead in a taut game. And then the players went cold.

I can’t hate on the effort. But given the defense played on both sides, sometimes the shots just don’t fall.

Though Donte DiVincenzo has made himself into a real player this season.

Second, Xavier and Butler are both going to the Sweet Sixteen. The Butler Bulldogs win was a mostly clinical demolition of a very good Middle Tennessee State team (late butterflies aside) and the Xavier Musketeers... wow. Pretty sure Florida State got to see their still beating heart held aloft by a sweaty J.P. Macura at some point in the game.

I’d pick the Oregon/ Rhode Island matchup as the best game to see today, but the Louisville/ Michigan game may have the most offensive fireworks.
