Tonight, there is a lot of legacy in the stands and on the screens, but on the floor, St. John’s needs a win. Badly.

The size of the Hoyas will be an issue, and the Johnnies will need to attack the perimeter guards just as they did early in the season. Are they (specifically, Justin Simon and Shamorie Ponds) up to the task defensively?

Will their player’s only meeting reap some rewards - and a better home performance for the Red Storm, who played lackluster games against Providence and DePaul?
