No, the Cal Bears aren’t particularly good, and they don’t stand to rise in the Pac-12 standings this season, as far as we know.
But all the predictions and extrapolation doesn’t mean much when the teams are on the floor. St. John’s should be able to pull out this game, and then wait to face the winner of VCU/ Temple, but the Red Storm need to take the game seriously.
