St. John’s has an 8-0 record, nothing to sneeze at, given the ways in which a basketball team can falter on a poor shooting night.
But that 8-0 record has come with more close calls than Johnnies fans would like. In an ideal world, St. John’s would blow the stripes off of the Princeton squad today, but given the Tigers’ slow pace, actual breathing big men on the floor, and the Tigers’ ability to shoot, we should probably strap in for a tighter game than the oddsmakers think this one will be.
