Poll: grading Mullin, impact players

Starting our look back on St. John’s and the year that was.

Wendell Cruz

Let’s start with the offseasoning. St. John’s finishes the year at 16-17 (unless they choose to inquire about and pay in to the College Basketball Invitational), 4-14 in Big East play, 1-1 in the conference tournament.

We wait to see if any players besides the seniors leave. Shamorie Ponds will test the NBA “waters”, Kassoum Yakwe’s disappearance from the floor (13 minutes since January 20th) is curious, and the usual flow of players out of programs could make some interesting choices.

We will break down the year, the team, how well they made/ missed expectations, and look at each player’s year individually. We will look to the future. But first, a few polls for you — we want your comments!

Give us your honest feelings (within reason. Don’t start cussing in the comments or otherwise use demeaning language, you’re better than that) on the coaching job, the impact player (good or bad) and other offseason questions you have.
