St. John’s recruiting: fall visit schedules

Next week is a chance for St. John’s to go full steam into the Fall recruiting period, starting on Sunday. The Red Storm will send Chris Mullin, Matt Abdelmassih and Greg St. Jean out to try to get closer to landing a number of 2019 players:

• Jalen Gaffney (Sunday)
• Kofi Cockburn (Monday at Oak Hill Academy)
• James Bishop (Monday)
• Precious Achiuwa (in Florida at Montverde Prep)
• Lester Quinones (in Florida at Montverde Prep)
• Al-Amir Dawes (Sunday)
• Jaylin Williams (Tuesday — in Georgia?)
• Jalen HIll (Tuesday in Las Vegas)

Notes

Jaylin Williams has visits to Auburn and Georgia already scheduled, but is obviously open to others. Williams is a top-100 prospect in many rankings, an undersized power forward who can run a bit.

Jalen HIll is a top-100 wing who may be a little slim to play power forward, but can make attacking athletic plays with the ball in his hands.

Aidan Igiehon already has an official visit to St. John’s set up for October 5th, as we come near the end of a long recruitment between the big man and St. John’s.

Jalen Gaffney will officially visit St. John’s on October 19th.

James Bishop will visit on September 15th.
