Game thread: St. John’s vs Butler

Well, here we are. Another crossroads (every other game seems to be a crossroads!) for a season that has a lot of promise.

Butler will come with some pep, hoping to use St. John’s struggles and lack of interior heft to vault into the top third of the league — and hopefully, an NCAA Tournament berth.

St. John’s hopes to get back to even before welcoming Villanova to Madison Square Garden this weekend.

Which St. John’s team will we get tonight? Will the three-pointers start to fall? Will Shamorie Ponds and Justin Simon get a chance to run? Will the bench provide a spark?
