Live game thread, St. John’s at Xavier

It’s five o’clock somewhere and that somewhere is almost here.

The Red Storm finish their regular season with a matchup against the physical Xavier Musketeers in Cincinnati. Next week is the Big East Tournament. With a win, St. John’s is third. With a loss, all sorts of scenarios are in play.

Having lost two straight in very simple fashion (“the other team had bigs”), St. John’s will look to right the ship and play some more of its depth to find a winning combination.

Sedee Keita will miss the game and did not travel with the team because of a disciplinary issue.

Xavier star Naji Marshall, who hit a career-high 31 in the last meeting, may be sidelined for this evening's game.

Josh Roberts scored a career-high eight against Xavier, and had stretches where he looked solid against the team.
