It feels strange to watch a St. John’s basketball game with your usual crew, or next to your friends, or at a bar with friends who don’t understand why you keep talking about the potential of Greg Williams Jr.

The Johnnies face New Jersey’s Saint Peter’s, out of the MAAC conference, without star sophomore forward Julian Champagnie, who is reportedly sitting out with a boot on. Boots on basketball courts never bode well, but the team has a number of interesting forwards to get the scoring started.
