Rick Pitino’s recruiting momentum cannot be stopped. After taking an on-campus visit this past weekend, class of 2024 shooting guard Jaiden Glover has committed to St. John’s.

Glover is ranked 77th overall in 247Sports’ composite rankings of the 2024 class, 65th in the 2024 ESPN 100, and 61st in On3’s rankings. The Hillside, New Jersey product chose St. John’s over Saint Joseph’s, Creighton, and Seton Hall.

Standing at 6-foot-6, Glover flashes a refined scoring touch at all three levels, explosiveness at the basket, and a high motor on the defensive end. At this summer’s NBPA Top 100 camp, which invites the top 100 recruits in the senior class as the name implies, Glover (#53) impressed among his fellow blue-chip prospects.

Originally recruited by Mike Anderson last season, Pitino and his staff maintained contact with Glover after the coaching change and prioritized his recruitment throughout the summer.

“[Pitino] likes how I play, he sees a future in me.” Glover told 247Sports earlier this month, “He thinks I have the potential to be an NBA guard.”

Glover becomes the third four-star high school recruit committed to St. John’s in Rick Pitino’s tenure, joining current freshmen Brady Dunlap and Simeon Wilcher.

St. John’s currently has ten scholarship players for the 2024-25 season after Glover’s commitment. This past May, 6-foot-5 Greek guard Lefteris Liotopoulos committed to the Red Storm, and is considered a top-3 prospect at his age in his country.
