From Deadspin: Joe Panik, now manning 2B for the Giants, dislocates his finger, stays in the game.
From @stjohnsredstorm on Instagram - a new walk-on? Khadim Ndiaye is, I believe, a former Christ the King player who didn't get much time who played a year for D-II Chestnut Hill College in the Philly area. He averaged 8.5 points/ 4.9 total rebounds (half of those offensive) in 21 minutes per game. Long Beach (NY) native Ndiaye made 18 starts. And he stands about 6'5".
Christian Jones looks broad enough to grab all the rebounds.

A few asked what the DT on the St. John's Red Storm uniforms stands for. It's for recently passed away alum and benefactor Donald Taffner, for whom the Fieldhouse is named. I didn't know this, but he was a television producer who brought both "Three's Company" and "Too Close for Comfort" to the United States. "Comfort" was a favorite show growing up.
