Hasahn French to visit Marquette, Minnesota, St. Louis


Hasahn French has scheduled three of his five official visits:

He took unofficial visits to the two local New England campuses - Providence and UMass - earlier this month and has now scheduled official visits Marquette on September 9th - 11th, Minnesota on September 23rd - 25th and Saint Louis on September 30th - October 1st.

Hackimer drafted by Twins with 123rd pick, MLB Draft


"The Twins have selected Hackimer with the 123rd overall pick in the first-year player draft.

"A 5-foot-11 righty from St. John's, Hackimer is strictly a reliever. He throws two pitches -- a fastball and slider -- neither of which project to be true plus offerings. However, he successfully relies on deception via a sidearm delivery that renders right-handed hitters helpless when his stuff is working."

Hackimer was drafted in the 14th round as a junior, and gets a ten-round improvement after a stellar senior season.
