Exhibition vs. Sonoma State moved to Saturday at 5:30 pm

St. John's decided to move the Red Storm's exhibition from Thursday to Saturday due to travel complications.

St. John's fans will have to wait two more days to see the Johnnies suit up for the first time.

The Red Storm announced on Monday afternoon that the team's scheduled exhibition against Sonoma State (Division II) has been moved from Thursday night to Saturday evening at 5:30 pm. The schedule change is due to travel complications that are expected from Hurricane Sandy's aftermath.

For season ticket holders, tickets for Thursday's exhibition will be honored on Saturday. The St. John's women's team will also be playing their exhibition against Farmingdale (Division III) at Carnesecca Arena on Saturday, at 2 pm. Admission to the women's game is free, but the two events are separate admission.

If you cannot make it to Queens for the contests, both games will be televised live on ESPN3 via the program's own STJ-TV production. STJ-TV is also scheduled to televise other home games from Carnesecca Arena throughout the early portion of the season.

Saturday's contest will be the first of two preseason exhibition for the Johnnies. Steve Lavin's young squad will host Concordia of Illinois (Division III) on Tuesday, November 6th at 7:30.
